General Election 2024
Chorley Green Party are celebrating our best ever set of results in the General Election 2024 with over 4600 voters across the borough choosing to vote Green. Our Parliamentary candidate Mark Tebbutt increased the vote share for Greens.

Chorley Borough Council Elections 2024
This year’s council elections in Chorley South West saw a repeat success and put Olga Cash and the Green Party in second place again.
Olga said: “I am grateful for every single vote cast for me. Being a Green Party candidate is all about turning challenges into opportunities on the journey of bringing positive change for all – 562 votes is a great result for us to build on.”
Chorley Borough Council Elections 2021
In wards where we stood a full slate of candidates we averaged 14% of the vote, with a high of 22% in Chorley South West.

Lancashire County Council Elections 2021
We held on to our seat in Lancaster Central where Gina Dowding got a massive majority of almost 1700 votes! We also gained a second County Council seat in Burnley Central West – congratulations to Andy Fewings!
Across the 8 Chorley seats on Lancashire County Council our best results were in Chorley South (12.4%) and Chorley North (11.5%).

There are now two Green Councillors on Lancashire County Council – Gina Dowding in Lancaster Central, and Andy Fewings in Burnley Central West
